Riccardo Felicetti is the CEO of Pastiﬁcio Felicetti, which has been making pasta in the Dolomite Alps since 1908.
The company produces 70 tons of pasta a day in 100 different shapes, exports to 40 countries and has revenues of 37 million euro per year. Felicetti is chairman of the Italian Pasta Producers Association, which is comprised of 75% of pasta manufacturers in Italy and is part of Conﬁndustria, the General Confederation of Italian Industry.
The Italian pasta industry produces 3.4 million tons of product per year (about 40 billion platefuls) and is worth 4.5 billion euros in revenue. Felicetti is a tireless traveller, sensitive innovator, courageous sportsman and great lover of skiing and golf.
When he is not in the USA or Japan, he runs 180 kilometres a day from his hometown at Merano to the city of Predazzo and back again. He is raising his children in the bilingual, Mittel-European culture of the area and grooming them for the time when they will take over the family business.
